Stefan Erhardt, M.Sc. has been awarded with the Leo-Brandt-Preis 2015 from the German Institute of Navigation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ortung und Navigation, DGON) for his Master’s thesis entitled „Entwicklung und Aufbau von Teilkomponenten für ein 61GHz ISM-Band Radarsystem in Substrate Integrated Waveguide-Technologie“ (engl. „Development and realization of subcomponents for a 61 GHz radar system in substrate integrated waveguide technology”.). The Institute honors annually innovative academic achievements in the area of positioning, navigation and associated technologies. The prize was awarded on July 7th 2015 during the CERGAL conference in Darmstadt, Germany.
